biosphere, relatively thin life-supporting stratum of Earth’s surface, extending from a few kilometres into the atmosphere to the deep-sea vents of the ocean. The biosphere is a global ecosystem composed of living organisms (biota) and the abiotic (nonliving) factors from which they derive energy and nutrients.

ကမ္ဘာမြေမျက်နှာပြင်၏ အတော်လေးပါးလွှာသော သက်ရှိများကို ထောက်ကူပေးသည့် biosphere သည် လေထုထဲသို့ ကီလိုမီတာအနည်းငယ်မှ သမုဒ္ဒရာ၏ ရေနက်ပေါက်ပေါက်များအထိ ကျယ်ပြန့်သည်။ biosphere သည် သက်ရှိများ ( biota ) နှင့် abiotic ( သက်ရှိမဟုတ်သော ) factor များ ဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသော ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ ဂေဟစနစ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး ၎င်းတို့မှ စွမ်းအင်နှင့် အာဟာရများဖြစ်သည်။
